This exceptional, idyllic apartment appears to be a separate holiday house and is approx. 85m2 big, it is on the ground floor and has its own terrace facing the river. It has a bedroom with a double bed, a large living and dining area with an open kitchen, a shower room and a separate toilet. A storage room for bicycles can be shared on request. The space The elegant apartment #2, “River” is located on the ground floor of Schleiferei II. The access is completely separate, the appartment has a private terrace and has a secluded location directly on the river Sieber. The apartment has a stylish and modern design and is furnished to a high standard; its character is defined by tall, bright rooms with large windows. The 85m2 large apartment consists of a bedroom with dressing room, a combined living, dining and cooking area, a bathroom with a shower and a separate guest toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers best conditions for ambitious cooking. The apartment is barrier-free. A storage room for bicycles can be shared on request. The private terrace, the immediate view of the nature reserve and the sound of the river Sieber make for an idyllic natural experience and secluded privacy. In addition, the accommodation can be used as a cozy base camp for trips into the wonderful nature of the Harz Mountains - and of course as a place for a relaxing break... The apartment is designed for two people (basic price). One pet is allowed upon request. The apartment is not suitable for children under 12 years of age and for babies because there is no fence between the terrace and the river Sieber that flows right past. Other things to note In 2022 and 2023, we completely renovated the Schleiferei II industrial monument, which now houses a total of six separate, modern holiday apartments. When designing, we followed the maxim of identifying and developing the particular charm of the historic building. Visible screet floors, raw masonry walls and exposed steel structural elements could thus be combined to create a harmonious overall impression. This is complemented by furniture that consist of a combination of vintage elements and modern design. For example, table tops were made from historic roof beams and combined with contemporary steel elements, beds were manufactured according to our own designs and juxtaposed with timeless design classics. The individual lighting concept highlights the particular features of each individual apartment.
