Whether you are a couple looking for a romantic get-away or looking to work remotely for a while, Casa Cooper will be your ideal place to spend those special weeks. You will be staying in the beautiful "Residencial Gaudia" complex with its palm tree-lined pool area at the edge of Castillo Caleta de Fuste. You will find all the restaurants, stores, shops, cafes and bars of "Castillo" just within comfortable walking distance. Castillo Beach, offering sunbeds and umbrellas for rent for your day at the beach is an approximate 10- minute walk away. Let me get you a feel of the appartement itself: Casa Cooper is a large (60sqm) 1-bedroom apartment on the top floor, offering a fantastic view of an open desert field to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the east – also meaning, next-door neighbors or random people from the street will not be able to watch your every move… Although the apartment is located in a very safe neighborhood, an alarm system including a camera directly connected to the police will give you an extra sense of security. For those of you feeling uncomfortable with this safety feature – please know this is totally optional and can also simply not be activated. The apartment consists of a lovely decorated, small entry area. Upon entering, you will also be welcomed by an open plan kitchen, fully equipped with cupboards offering plenty of storage space, oven, microwave, induction hob, exhaustion hood, a large refrigerator and freezer unit as well as a built-in washing machine. On top of that, you will find a kitchen island with barstools facing the terrace. The kitchen will provide your basic essentials plus more: coffee machine, hot water heater, toaster, tea pot, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, cutting knives, coffee and tea cups, water and wine glasses – both white and red, citrus press, tupper ware, and so much more. Lounge Aera / Optional Workspace: After having passed the kitchen area, you will find a dining table suited to seat four, which can also be used as a nice workspace during the day, facing the terrace. If you are here for a work holiday, an Eizo monitor can be provided to make it easier on your eyes. To get to the relaxing part of your stay, moving on, you will find a large and comfortable high quality sofa unit facing a large LED smart TV, offering Spanish channels as well as Netflix, You Tube, Spotify (to be used with your own account), etc. Whether for working or surfing, you will enjoy the fast fibre optic WIFI at 300Mbps that is available at Casa Cooper. Bedroom: You will certainly enjoy the European king-size bed (180mx200m) with its high quality mattress, as well as duvets and pillows. On the one side of the room, you will find a large built-in closet, providing plenty of storage space as well as a safe deposit box. Nicely enough, the bedroom features a terrace door opening to a small balcony where you can hang up your clothes and towels to dry – clothespins provided. BUT: please be aware of *fuerte venta" – never ever have more than 1 door / window open…. During the cooler months you can leave this terrace door open at night to have a nice breeze during your sleep – during the summer months or whenever you feel too hot, there is an airconditioning unit in the bedroom. Bathroom: Upon entering the bathroom, your feet will get the feeling of walking on soft rocks at the beach – a warm texture provided by the unique tiling you will certainly enjoy. The vanity mirror including a built-in led light ring, a wash basin combined with a dark-grey vanity unit, a good-sized walk-in-shower and a ceiling light that can be remote-controlled to give you different shades of light allow you to imerge into the wellness feeling that you deserve. You will at once notice the little tiles on the ceiling, including shells and stones - you will for sure enjoy these ocean-themed details. A very nice feature is the window opening to the indoor light shaft, which, on the one hand, provides extra light for the room, on the other hand, allows moisture to evaporate easily. Terrace: The outdoor space holds a very nice outdoor sofa with deep cushions to relax in the sun or the shade – pull-out awnings included to provide the shade you wish for. There is also a teak table seating two, facing both the open desert field to the north and the ocean to the east – wonderfully peaceful. Facing north and east, you can enjoy the sun in the morning year-round, as of the end of March until October, you will have sun on the terrace almost all day – therefor the awnings to be used according to your preferences. Guest access Casa Cooper is located in the gated community of "Residencia Gaudia". Upon entering the residencia, you will find a beautiful palm-tree lined community pool with a few sunbeds which are free to use for residents or guests of Gaudia. For parking, there is free parking outside on the street or as well as a close-by public parking space (2 minutes walking distance).
