Located in the heart of downtown Sandusky with views of Lake Erie & Cedar Point, the Chesapeake is the ideal location for experiencing all the shores & islands have to offer. Walk to restaurants, shops & more as well as a ferry to Cedar Point or the Islands. Less than 10 min to Cedar Point, Sports Force Park, Kalahari & other local attractions. The space This unit has bedrooms and living area that are larger than most others in The Chesapeake Lofts. Spread out in the king sized bed (bedroom 1) while bedroom 2 features a queen. Smart TV connected to the internet and ready for you to log in to your favorite streaming apps. Elegantly decorated, this unit will make you feel like you are staying at a luxury waterfront resort. Kitchen comes fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dinner ware, bar ware and some basic cooking supplies like spices. Gated, secure parking for 2 vehicles is included. Guest access There is a private pool and hot tub, outdoor grills, and fitness center for Chesapeake guests. The large porch contains patio furniture that is only accessible from inside this unit. Outdoor amenities may be limited due to the seasonality of local climate and the condo associations determination of appropriate conditions. The pool and hot tub generally open around Memorial Day and close shortly after Labor Day. No common area amenity is guaranteed by the host. Other things to note This is an end unit giving our guests extra privacy. It should still be noted that this is a downtown condo building; while we've never had issues with loud or unruly neighbors, we cannot guarantee silence! The association may perform maintenance/projects from time to time without notice to the owners. This may result in unusable amenities, obstructed views and/or noise. Sleeping arrangements and bedding are for the two beds shown in the listing. Other furniture is not intended for sleeping and no extra bedding is provided. A few days before your check in, we will contact you with access information. If you have not already, please make sure you have read the entire listing and have familiarized yourself with our house rules. Our city vacation rental permit does limit the number of guests. We use common area (hallway) security cameras and Minut noise monitoring devices to verify guest count. Violation will result in immediate removal without refund. The unit is also monitored for smoking (cigarette, marijuana and vaping are all detectable) which will result in immediate removal without refund. Tampering with any monitoring device will also result in immediate removal without refund.
