Do you miss the hustle and bustle of the city and the peace of the countryside? An hour's drive from Helsinki, in the traditional landscape of Kantahäme, this old-fashioned grandmother's cottage awaits visitors! The cottage is modest, but it accommodates 2-4 people. From the plot you can access the hiking trails to the ridge landscapes! In 10 minutes you can reach the beaches or go paddle boarding. In the idyllic landscape of Hausjärvi's church village, it is nice to walk in the evening and then enjoy a snack in front of the cottage in the shade of apple trees. The space The cottage is modest in size but the milieu is even more idyllic. A lovely old-fashioned courtyard with old red clay buildings, a forest on the border of the plot, and a path right next to it up to the ridge with beautiful hiking landscapes. At the same time, next to the other house in the yard there is a dog yard and there is usually a nice Lapphund. If necessary (if your own dog, for example, is very stressed by strange dogs), the dog can of course be moved indoors. The area also has nice cycling terrain and nice places to cycle. We recommend bringing your own bikes! But especially in connection with longer (5 days and more) visits, we have usually been able to arrange 1-2 bicycles for guests, if necessary. Note! If you bring your own dog, please let us know in advance and also mark the dog in the reservation. Thank you! :) Guest access Guests have free access to the yard, chairs, table and grill in the yard. NOTE! If you want to grill, bring your own charcoal with you, please! :) Other things to note The cottage has sleeping facilities: - 1 double bed 160 cm, in the master bedroom - 1 narrow double bed approx. 120-130 cm, this has just been refurbished with a thick high-quality mattress topper, so it is good to sleep on! This bed is in a small bedroom with an entrance through the master bedroom So these facilities can be found in the cottage: - Kitchen (so-called living room) - spacious bedroom, which also has a small "bedroom". - There's a toilet/shower in the hallway Note! The smaller bedroom (which can only accommodate a bed) is accessed through the large bedroom! In the kitchen section: microwave, fridge and small oven + 2 hotplates. Small bathroom with shower and toilet (hot water). High-quality and fresh drinking water comes from the tap! :) Note! The fireplaces in the kitchen are not in use! (The chimney of the house is not in use!) There is no TV in the house, but there is a radio and a CD player :)
