The space LOCATION Welcome to the Wine Trail Covered Wagon, your unique getaway just 7 miles south of the Village of Penn Yan, nestled on a peaceful 6-acre, partially wooded property on the east side of Keuka Lake. While we’re about 1/4 mile from the lake, please note that direct lake access is not available. But don’t worry—you’ll still enjoy a lovely view of the water from the end of the driveway! We're perfectly positioned right in the heart of the Keuka Lake Wine Trail, between Rooster Hill Vineyard and Weis Vineyard, offering a perfect opportunity to explore the region’s best wineries. Looking for even more adventure? Watkins Glen State Park is just 17 miles away, and the Keuka Lake Outlet Trail is only 7 miles from the wagon! AMENITIES & DISCLOSURES The Wine Trail Covered Wagon isn’t your typical camping experience—it combines the charm of rustic living with all the modern comforts you need. Here’s what you can expect: Comfort Year-Round The wagon is equipped with 3 layers of canvas to keep you cozy in any weather, whether it's the cool breeze of winter or the hot sun in summer. Inside, you’ll find a Mini Split system for heat and A/C, preset to a comfy 70°F before your arrival. Feel free to adjust it to your liking with the included remote. Fully Equipped Bathroom & Kitchenette No need to sacrifice comfort when nature calls! The full bathroom features a shower, toilet, and sink. We provide shampoo and body wash, but if you have a favorite soap, feel free to bring it along. We’ve also included a mini-fridge, toaster oven, and a coffee maker, stocked with coffee, sugar, and creamer for your convenience. Start your mornings right—grab a cup of coffee, and you’re ready to go! WiFi & Entertainment Enjoy WiFi during your stay, because who says you can’t have the best of both worlds? The Smart TV is already set up for you with easy access to Netflix, Hulu, and more. Perfect for a cozy night in! Comfortable Sleeping Arrangements The futon provides extra sleeping space and is easy to convert—just pull the frame to turn it into a comfortable bed! Pet Friendly We know your furry friends are part of the family, and we welcome them with open arms! There are no additional pet fees, and we make sure to keep the wagon clean, but if you’re sensitive to pet allergens, please note that pets have stayed here before. Pests & Insects We’ve taken care of any potential pest issues with professional treatments twice a year by a local pest control company—once in spring and again in fall. Since the wagon sits on wheels, we’ve never had any significant issues with insects or mice. However, ladybugs have been spotted on occasion, so if you’re not a fan of any bugs, please keep this in mind when booking. Fire Pit Looking to cozy up by the fire? You’re in luck! Our fire pit is ready for you to enjoy. Firewood is not provided, but there are several local stands on your way to the property where you can pick up some, and purchasing from our neighbors helps support the community!
