Once on beach boardwalk, 23 miles of scenic ocean views to enjoy for a good cardio workout or leisurely journey. Otherwise a 4 min drive! - take a nice walk around the neighborhood to the other side of the island where you may see manatees and dolphins swim by - if you want a quiet beach area with locals and no tourists, drive to Surfside and park near 88th or 89th street off of Colins Avenue (or bike up!)
