Description
A Stay Across The Bay is a 100-year old church that has been converted into your home away from home. This cozy and inviting space has two bedrooms and loft area all with a queen size bed for your comfort. The space has a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor bbq. The kitchen has an island that seats four as well as a small dining table. The back patio also has an outside dining table for four. The hot tub is also included in all bookings. The space We are 20 kms outside of Corner Brook in Irishtown-Summerside in the Bay of Islands. A Stay Across The Bay is on the North Shore Highway which is the main road that connects all the communities from Hughes Brook to Coxs Cove. Be prepared to take in the sounds of the morning commuters and the peaceful and relaxing silence once the sun goes down. There's lots to do in the Bay of Islands if you like to take in the outdoors. Most communities have beach access, hiking trails, beautiful waterfalls and lookout points. All the communities are connected by an ATV trail which makes for a beautiful afternoon ride. If you're more for relaxation you can sit on the front deck and take in the view of the bay. It's even better at night when you can see the South Shore Highway lit up. If you're lucky you may also see a cruise ship coming in or going out. If you're looking for more of city feel Corner Brook is a 15 minute drive away. There you will find restaurants, the Corner Brook Plaza (mall), live music and nightly entertainment. Visiting during our winter season? Marble Mountain is only a 25 minute drivewith skiing, snowboarding and a cozy and inviting lodge. Other things to note We are two minutes away from ATV and snowmobile trails.
