Issues outside the Host’s control (power outages, WiFi disruptions, temporary water shut-offs, elevator delays, weather, HOA maintenance, temporary amenity closures) are not eligible for refunds. Early departures are non-refundable. SECURITY This property features a Ring doorbell camera at the exterior front entry only. It does not view interior spaces and records video when motion is detected or when the doorbell is pressed. Additional exterior security cameras operate in common areas throughout the resort. EVENTS & PEAK SEASON Myrtle Beach hosts festivals, tournaments, concerts, and holiday events year-round. During major events and summer months, expect heavier traffic, larger crowds, and longer parking and elevator wait times at the resort. High-demand periods include: • Bike Weeks • Major golf tournaments • Holiday weekends • Summer concerts and festivals Advance reservations for dining, golf, and attractions are strongly recommended. EV charging stations (currently not available) PARKING • Complimentary parking for up to two vehicles (unassigned, first-come, first-served). • Parking hangtag must be completed and displayed at all times. • Garage clearance: 6'8" (tight turns and narrow spaces are typical for the area). • Overflow garage located at 74th Ave. & N. Ocean Blvd. can accommodate larger vehicles up to the maximum 6'8" clearance. The HOA prohibits: campers, trailers, RVs, boats, motorcycles, and golf carts. Guests are responsible for towing fees due to violations. Metered parking is available nearby. Vehicles with valid handicap placards may park free at public meters in South Carolina. NON-SMOKING & NOISE POLICY This is a shared resort setting. The resort is non-smoking and enforces a noise ordinance. Guests may occasionally notice ambient noise or odors in public areas. If you have any concerns, please message the Host, who can coordinate with the resort security team. Violations of resort rules may result in eviction without refund and possible involvement of local authorities. HURRICANE SEASON & EVACUATIONS Hurricane season runs June–November. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. If a mandatory government evacuation is issued, Airbnb may provide refunds under its Major Disruptive Events policy. Forecasted storms alone do not qualify. Guests must contact Airbnb directly for eligibility and details. WEATHER Coastal weather can change quickly. Afternoon showers and occasional storms are common, especially in warmer months. BEACH GUIDELINES (May 15–September 15) Per city ordinance: • Umbrellas must be placed behind the line of rental umbrellas • Tents are prohibited These rules ensure lifeguards have clear visibility for swimmer safety. Always check daily beach warning flags for surf and rip current conditions. COMPLIMENTARY BEACH GEAR PROVIDED • 2 beach chairs • 1 beach umbrella • Beach towels • Small cooler tote Please rinse the items and remove any sand before returning them to the unit. BEACH GEAR RENTALS Beach chairs and umbrellas already set up on the beach may be rented directly from lifeguards (cash required). PEST CONTROL Routine pest control service is scheduled for the first Wednesday of each month. Guests do not need to be present. Entry is required per HOA policy and takes less than five minutes. A staff member will accompany the technician and knock before entering. AIR CONDITIONING Turn the AC off when the balcony door is open. This helps prevent excess humidity and condensation inside the condo. Upon departure, leave the climate control unit on and running. HOT WATER (Winter Months) During periods of low occupancy, hot water may take up to 5 minutes to reach full temperature. LUGGAGE RACKS Resort luggage racks are located in the Main Hotel Registration Lobby and are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so availability cannot be guaranteed. Please do not bring resort luggage racks inside the studio, as they may cause damage. A doorstop is provided to keep the door open while unloading. BALCONY SAFETY • Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are prohibited • No sitting or climbing on railings • Supervise children at all times • Keep doors closed when not in use • Do not throw items from the balcony • During periods of high wind or inclement weather, we recommend limiting balcony use and may request that the furniture be moved indoors POOL SAFETY • Swim at your own risk; lifeguards not present • Children must be supervised • Follow posted rules and hours • No glass in pool areas CHECK-OUT & ADDITIONAL CHARGES Check-Out Time: 10:00 AM Late Check-Outs: During peak season, late check-outs cannot be accommodated to allow our cleaning team sufficient time to prepare the condo for the next guests. Unauthorized late check-out (15–30 minutes): $25 fee. Stays beyond this timeframe may incur additional charges and will require coordination with the host, cleaning partner, and resort personnel. Additional Charges May Apply For: Excessive cleaning: starting at $50 Smoking odors: $150 for ozone treatment Damages or missing items – please report any accidental damage promptly to avoid misunderstandings.
