Oakheart Cottage is nestled on Lucavsalas Island, right by the banks of the Daugava River. The cottage is situated within the Lucavsalas Park, beneath a magnificent 100-year-old oak tree. It's a place where you can be close to nature while still being in the heart of Riga. It's an ideal spot for active lifestyle enthusiasts, offering various sports activities such as hiking trails, paddleboard and canoe rentals, and even cross-country ski rentals in winter. Guest access Our cottage is available for overnight stays throughout the year. It comfortably accommodates 2 (possibility for extra 2 persons) The kitchen area is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The first floor features a shower, toilet, and a small relaxation area with a sofa that can be transformed into a double bed. Up the stairs is the double mattress bed. On the terrace, you'll find a hot tub with hydro massage (for extra cost - 60€), offering a serene spot to sip your morning coffee while enjoying the view of the Daugava River. There's also a small fire pit where enjoy evening. Other things to note Just a 15-minute walk from the cottage, you'll find the cozy café "Starp krastiem," open throughout the summer season. Nearby, within 1km, there are convenience stores like Neste and Senukai, while a 1.5km walk will take you to a Maxima supermarket. Public transportation is also easily accessible within a 15-minute walk, and you can easily get around using ride-sharing services like Bolt or CityBee. The city center of Riga is just a 10-minute drive away.
