A warm “Welcome” is sent to you by “Khadija & Family”: This comfortable, well-ventilated room with private entrance is nestled in a quality environment with lush, well-kept vegetation, flowers, an “English Sunken Garden” and an external VIP bar/summer hat. There is also vegetarian food “à la carte”. The space For your safety and well-being, the room is protected by a personal security door, mosquito nets on the windows and also a mosquito door. Directly attached to the room is a small private washroom with shower, good water pressure, hot water, toilet (with bidet shower) and even a ceiling fan. Guests also have a small veranda right outside the door, which offers a beautiful view of the lawn, the palm trees and the “Sunken Garden”. Right next to the private veranda there is a refreshing open-air shower which is available at all times (see photos). Towels, blankets and sheets are provided -freshly laundered-. They will be washed or replaced regularly during your stay. Guest access Guests have direct access to the garden, the outdoor VIP Lounge in the recently renovated summer hut (with lighting and ceiling fans). In addition, right next to the room and the summer hut is a unique "Sunken Garden" which is also inviting for breakfast/dinner or just a cool drink. Most of these "on-site SPOTS" have power sockets and MTN/Telecel internet network coverage is available. Therefore, the room and its surroundings are a perfect place for "home office" work. The guest has his own refrigerator, which is located on the personal veranda. Free drinking water from the deep well is available (chilled in the personal fridge)...enjoy. Other things to note Your host is Khadija Adamu and her family. Khadija is a trained expert in homemade, local specialties who has been able to expand her knowledge through international travel. She follows the rules of international, ovo-lacto-vegetarian cuisine and uses only unrefined (often cold-pressed, extra-virgin) cooking oils sourced from local, trusted partners...all for your well-being. Khadija is also a trained fashion designer who is happy to take your individual requests for bespoke fashion (for men and women). We support the local industry by offering coffee from the Ivory Coast, local teas, local soaps (depending on seasonal availability) and locally made furniture. Currently OUR favorite local brands are...: for freshly brewed coffee: 100% Robusta coffee, Côte d'Ivoire; for natural honey: From cooperatives in Burkina Faso for soap/shampoo: Shea WaLe Alata Simena “Ashanti Style” in cooperation with a family production near Kumasi for vegetable oils: Shea WaLe Europe in cooperation with the oil mill “Bobo Beauty Factory” in Burkina Faso We use rainwater for the toilet and use our shower/kitchen water to water the garden flowers...enjoy.
