Yet it's the world on your doorstep that makes this spot so special; with 2 bedrooms in the original cottage, the fun spills outside to the rear where you'll find a self-contained annexe for your invited guests and a fantastic contemporary garden with its own raised hot tub, available upon request. Inside Having been tastefully refurbished, this sophisticated cottage has a great open plan living space for socialising with the family, a tranquil courtyard garden with a raised hot tub (available upon request), and a stylish annexe that just adds the charm of Monkey Puzzle Cottage. Main House Living Area Upon entering the property, you are immediately welcomed into the social open plan living area with comprises a kitchen, dining area and lounge. The cosy lounge area is elegantly furnished and equipped with a comfy sofa, two armchairs, a wood burning stove and a Smart TV. The dining area seats up to 6 guests around the wooden table with bench seating either side. The contemporary kitchen is well-equipped with a ceramic Belfast sink, slim-line dishwasher, a built-in electric oven and ceramic hob, an under-counter fridge, separate under-counter freezer, kettle, toaster and a Nespresso coffee machine. Bedrooms and Bathrooms Bedroom 1 Overlooking the front of the property, this room is furnished with a super king size bed, chest of drawers and wall hanging space and a stunning freestanding bath at the bottom of the bed! Bedroom 2 Overlooking the attractive rear garden, this room is furnished bunk bedroom. The Shower room is located between the two bedrooms and is equipped with a walk-in power shower, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail. Annexe Located mid-way along the garden there is a self-contained annexe with additional accommodation for two guests. Open the conservatory doors and you will find yourself in the comfortable lounge area, furnished with a two-seater sofa, coffee table and sideboard that doubles as a chest of drawers. Adjacent to this there is a cosy bedroom area with a king size bed, large Smart TV and hanging space. There is also an en suite with a walk-in rainfall shower, WC and wash hand basin Outside To the rear of the property there is a fully enclosed landscaped garden centred around the well-established Monkey Puzzle Tree. There is a relaxed seating area, perfect for relaxing or al fresco dining on the patio area as well as a charcoal BBQ available for guests to use (fuel not provided). At the rear of the garden, you will find the luxurious raised hot tub! Set up a few steps, elevated above the rest of the garden, why not have a pre-breakfast dip and enjoy listening to the morning bird song or pour yourself a glass of bubbly and have a celebratory soak long into the evening – maybe even under the stars! Please note, we cannot guarantee that the hot tub will be up to maximum temperature on the day of your arrival. Unrestricted parking is available roadside at the front of the property. Please note that the cottage has shared access between the back door and rear path.
