Plum Creek golf course is just 5 minutes away. EVO There are numerous wedding venues in the area. Texas Old Town, Thistlewood Manor, Sage Hill Inn and The Plant at Kyle. It is also very close to numerous music/concert venues. Circuit of the Americas, Gruene Hall, Moody Theater, Paper Tiger in San Antonio, White Water Amphitheater in Canyon Lake, Luckenbach, John T Flore's in San Antonio. When you are visiting Austin, you have to check out all of the BBQ and try two-steppin at the Iconic Broken Spoke (that is where I met my husband, hence we bought a ranch so i could have easy access to downtown Austin). The Continental Club on South Congress in Austin, The Saxon pub, Cactus Cafe, Emo's, Antone's Nightclub, Little Longhorn Saloon, Historic Scoot Inn, the oldest bar in central Texas, The Paramount Theatre and so much more. Please Note: You are renting a home on a ranch which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will be visible. Guest access Guests will have access to all of the property * Charcoal Grill in Garage (please cook outside) * Smoker on property * Feel free to walk the property and pet the horses *Walking in pastures - please close all gates Other things to note *There is one walk-in shower. Please plan check out accordingly. *The BBQ grill is in garage along with utensils, you must bring your own wood or charcoal and charcoal lighter fluid and meat, lol. Please clean utensils and place bbq grill back in garage when you leave. *The pool is treated and cleaned on Friday’s there will be a time out of pool immediately after it being treated. **The pool is available to be heated upon request for an additional charge and overnight temperature is above 50 degrees. Please note this is a very large pool and can be expensive to heat depending on outside temperature and overnight lows. This additional charge is to cover the gas costs to heat the pool when the air temperature is cool. The surcharge must be paid upfront and notice must be provided 24 hours prior to the desired temperature to ensure time for the water to warm. We will not provide a heated pool temperature greater than 84° at any time in the year. If it is cloudy or nighttime, the pool will not feel as warm as it will on a sunny day even though the water temperature is the same. It will not feel warm like a hot tub. We kindly request that you not allow your dog to swim in our pool. There are security cameras surrounding the entire outside perimeter of the house for added security. The pool is within the coverage area of the security cameras. We do not have any cameras inside the home, respecting our guest's privacy. These cameras record are motion activated. There is one from garage view, west entrance view, west pool view and east pool view. They record audio and video on motion. We have an additional property located in Fredericksburg, TX if you are interested, please inquire. *CLEANING & SANITIZATION * health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out. We only use fragrance free, laundry detergent and dryer balls and no deodorizers. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions you might have. We are not responsible for any items left behind. Service dogs are welcome and normal pet fees and rules do not apply. The policy for service dogs is as follows. A guest's service animal must not be: Out of control. Unhousebroken. Cannot be left alone at the listing.
