Relax on the peaceful island of Orø

During the season, Orø offers a number of cafes and restaurants, a cozy mini zoo, playground and child-friendly beach. The cottage is located on the edge of a small peaceful forest with birds and deer. Large lawn, surrounded by trees. Good for playing and playing ball. There is a sun terrace with beautiful sun loungers and a covered terrace that provides space for cozy activities. From the house, it is 5 minutes to the water on foot to your own beach and 5 minutes by car to Orø's best and child-friendly beach. The space The cottage consists of: LIVING ROOM AND KITCHEN: - Heat pump, wood stove, TV with Netflix and portable radio - sofa, armchairs, coffee table, large pillows and board games - full kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave as well as full kitchen equipment (incl. electric grill) - dining table and chairs + high chair THREE BEDROOMS - with room for 5 guests and dressers with towels and linens: - bedroom 1/master bedroom double bed 180x200 cm - Possibility to set up two baby cribs (you must bring your own baby duvets if necessary) - bedroom 2 with double bed 140x 200 cm with bunk bed: 95x200 cm - bedroom 3 with double bed 140x200 cm BATHROOM: - shower, toilet, washer, dryer, sink + baby bathtub SUN TERRACE: - two wide sun loungers are permanently on the terrace. Mattresses/cushions and pillows are available in a large chest on the covered terrace COVERED TERRACE: - several tables where you can eat, daybed, chess table, chest with cushions and chest with outdoor toys (ketchers, balls, etc.) GARDEN: - nets for tennis/badminton/volleyball and soccer nets - tables and chairs - hammock FIREWOOD SHELTER: - firewood for the wood-burning stove, as well as laundry basket and drying racks Guest access There is access to the entire house and the entire garden. You are the only company on the property Other things to note TRANSPORT Orø is an island located in Isefjorden near Holbæk. The two ferries to Orø make it easy and quick to get to the island from the rest of Denmark. You can get to Orø either by ferry from Hammer Bakke or from Holbæk Harbor. Both ferries receive motorists, cyclists and pedestrians. Both ferry locations are approximately 1 hour's drive from Copenhagen. As a train passenger, you can take the train to Holbæk Station and from there stroll about 10 minutes to Holbæk Harbour, from which the Orø ferry sails. EASTERN FERRY: Departure every 20 or 30 minutes between 05:40 and 24:00 to Orø from Hammer Bakke, northeast of Holbæk. Crossing time: 6 minutes. ORØ FERRY: Departure approx. every hour during the period 07:45-21:30 from Holbæk Harbor to Orø. Crossing time: 25 minutes.
