Steeped in history, once a bustling Roman town and a prominent route for pilgrims. We are situated right on the edge of the village; no where near busy roads so it’s blissfully quiet - just the sheep in the field and the church bells. We have some lovely pubs and a great farm shop selling local produce. And Oxford is only 15 mins away! The space The Nest is a beautifully designed self-contained suite, offering everything needed for a relaxing countryside escape. The open-plan space features a well-equipped kitchenette with a two-ring hob, dishwasher, and fridge, alongside a dining area and a comfortable space for sleeping and unwinding. A separate shower room provides added privacy and convenience. With uninterrupted views across the surrounding countryside and a wonderfully peaceful setting, The Nest offers a tranquil retreat from everyday life. Whether you’re seeking a quiet getaway or a base for exploring the local area, it is the perfect rural hideaway. To help you make the most of your stay, guests are welcome to use the on-site parking from any time on the day of arrival. Where possible, we are also delighted to offer an earlier check-in time, allowing you to settle in and start enjoying your countryside escape sooner. There is parking available for one car and an electric vehicle charging point at a daily charge of £20. If you request parking for more than one car, please get in touch before hand to arrange. Other things to note Bookings will only accept a minimum of a two night stay but we are able to offer a one night stay for a special price of £150.
