Villa Colin - 4*

Our family home, in vegetation and near the beach offers a relaxing break for the whole family. Villa Colin was built in 1900 by the painter Paul Alfred Colin. Typical of the Pays de Caux region with its bricks and flint, it becomes Impressionist with its half-timbering. Its 1,900 m2 landscaped, enclosed garden offers a lovely view of the village. The villa is rated 4*. Shops and beaches less than 500 m away. The space Villa Colin is a large house ideal for vacations with family or friends in the seaside resort of Yport. It is less than 600 meters from the beach and 500 meters from the town center. It has private parking for 3 cars. All journeys can be made on foot. The villa is well equipped and offers space for everyone. The unobstructed, commanding view of the village from the terrace is particularly appreciated in the afternoon sunshine. The 1900 m2 landscaped garden is enclosed. It adjoins a 2-hectare wood with a splendid sea view. The villa has 5 bedrooms, three with queen-size beds (160x200 cm) and two with two single beds each. A baby bed is also available. Optimum sleeping capacity is 10 people. This can be extended to 12 people using the library sofas. The Villa has two bathrooms (shower and bath), a shower room and three WCs, two of which are separate. A large, light-filled library/games room will delight everyone, whatever the weather. Books, videos, board games and toys are all available. A living room with a wood-burning stove and two large sofas, as well as a dining room opening onto the terrace, complete the house. The kitchen is spacious. It is equipped with a gas hob, an American fridge, a microwave, a dishwasher, a kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, a toaster and plenty of pots, pans and kitchen utensils. At Villa Colin you'll find 3 mountain bikes available free of charge for the duration of your stay, garden tables and chairs, deckchairs, a barbecue, free Wi-Fi access and free parking. Yport is a village 11km from Etretat and 6km from Fécamp, whose history is linked to cod fishing and Impressionist painting. Its pebble beach is family-friendly and supervised in summer. The cliffs of the Pays de Caux and the GR 21 offer lovely walks with views over the Côte d'Albâtre. In Yport you'll find shops, restaurants and a casino, making for an enjoyable holiday. Le Havre is a 40-minute drive away and Rouen can be reached in 1 hour. Nearby activities include an 18-hole golf course, an accrobranche, the Etretat velo-rail, a riding school, jet ski hire and rides on electric scooters or a sailing boat. You can visit the Benedictine Palace in Fécamp and enjoy cocktails there. The Fécamp museum is fascinating, recounting the lives of the sailors who sailed to Terre Neuve to fish for cod, scenes of life from the last century and works by local painters including Paul Auguste Colin.
