Family home in Normandy

Our house in Normandy is ideal for families seeking tranquility and nature, in a bucolic setting. Located in a village, less than 8 minutes from Alençon and the Écouves Forest, the house offers a large property: playhouse with slide, swing, trampoline, outdoor kitchen, and basketball hoop. There are two bedrooms and all the comfort and soul of a “real home” for an authentic vacation. You are here in our main residence, please take care of it. The space The single-story house has two bedrooms: our bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm) and, right next door, our daughter’s bedroom with a bunk bed and the option to add a travel cot. The rest of the house serves a comfortable living room, dining room and kitchen that give access to the veranda (be careful, it is not isolated, so in winter, consider it unusable). The veranda is equipped with a small sitting area and a dining table with stunning views of the garden and surrounding nature. In the basement, you will have access to a washing machine. Please note that: The house is not suitable for 4 adults, but for 2 adults + 2/3 children. The veranda is not insulated, so we close it up for the winter from November to April. Guest access You will have access to the entire home and its amenities. One bedroom and the storage room in the basement will be closed so we can store our personal belongings there. Other things to note 🚗 You will not have access to the garage located in the basement. However, you will be able to park your car in the courtyard. 🪵We provide the pellet stove. We provide a bag, which can be used for about 3 days.
