Located in the city of Rhinelander, this river house will provide a peaceful place for you to stay during vacation or work travel. Recently remodeled the charming home contains modern conveniences and period antiques. We hope you enjoy its many details and the care we have taken to preserve its historic charm. The kitchen is well stocked for your cooking away from home. Includes a TV, Wi-Fi, washer & dryer and gorgeous river views. Fish from shore or bring your boat. The space Decorated with shabby sheek themes, this small four season home is located on the edge of the Wisconsin River. The home was completely remodeled this past year. Small movable work desk with plug in outlets and USB plus USB ports available for your use. USB outlet also in bedroom wall outlet. Come for a weekend or stay longer to work or visit the area. Just pick up your food, bring your personals and move right into the space ready to Rhinelander city river life. Cozy sheets, blankets and comply towels are ready for you.. Wash your clothes during your stay with free stackable washer and dryer. Sit by the river and watch the birds migrate. Bring your boat and fish the Hat Rapid foliage, kayak or canoe. Dock river side or fish directly from the back. Neighbors have told me lots of fish can be caught off the dock, and one man told me it was his favorite secret spot as a child. Hiking trails located in walking distance and you can drive or trek 2-3 blocks for groceries at Trigs or explore downtown Brown Street with various bars, restaurants and stores. Walk a couple of block to have great coffee at the Briar House located in the neighborhood. Our other favorite restaurants are Tilly's, Cafe and Pub, CT's Deli and Brown Street 151, all located on Brown Street. Sip wine at Catalyst Wine Bar or drink local Rhinelander beers at Rhinelander Brewing Company. Explore Art Start, Pioneer Park, Oneida County Courthouse, and Rhinelander Historic Museum if you enjoy history or architecture. Tourist information center is located just on the other side of the river over a bridge. Soak up the sun at the public beach, Almonl Park at Buck Lake You'll have one queen bed in the bedroom with closet, dresser and hangers. Lots of hooks on walls to hand your stuff. Fold down the futon in the living room and make a second bed with provided mattress pad, sheets and blankets. The bathroom has a new toilet and vanity. Vintage tile on floor and in the tub shower combo. Soft towels, soaps and shampoo available for use. Hair dryer stored below bathroom vanity. Sip hot chocolate, coffee or tea as you watch TV or get cozy by the electric fireplace. Guest access Main floor home, side yard and river are accessible during your stay. Other things to note Self check in and Schlaig door code will be made available prior to check in.
