The homeowners feel it was very serendipitous that they found this lovely home! They would love to share their special place with you. It's a perfect getaway for one or two couples. You can walk down the street and dine at Beradu, Sake Sushi, or Black Bear Tavern. This amazing home was previously selected as Home of the Month by the Raleigh News and Observer. This award is a collaborative effort between the paper and NC State University's School of Design through its home environments design initiative. Blending softly into the hillside of this desirable Village of Cheshire community, the architect, Thomas Lawton, made use of native stones, cedar shingles, and native landscaping. Outdoor rooms were created with covered porches and a terrace area carved out of the hillside. Inside, a loft-like interior includes clean, modern lines and lots of windows. House Layout Main floor- Full kitchen featuring Viking appliances; Half bath; Open living room area with gas fireplace and TV (cable and streaming available); Dining table that seats 4; Deck with a dining table. Upper level- Primary loft with King bed, TV, and a luxurious full bathroom with a walk-in shower and soaking tub. Lower level- Bedroom with King bed, TV, and a full bathroom; Lower-level patio and additional entrance. Outdoors- Stone patio with outdoor fireplace by main entrance. Please note: The owners offer a 10% military discount year-round to military service members. Guest access All of our homes are private residences so you have access to the entire house unless otherwise noted in the description (the owner may not allow use of the garage, etc). Free parking at all homes. After you make your reservation, you will receive an email with instructions for access, including a keyless access code if your home has keyless entry.
