Moose Lodge - Keene Valley is the heart of the Adirondack forest preserve. This is where the most trailheads converge in the 6 million acre Adirondack Park. Conveniently arrive by car, train, or small plane. The property was constructed in 2014 from original barn wood, and the interior was handcrafted by a master of the High Adirondack Style. We’ve taken the reigns, as Kevin continues the tradition of a master carpenter on site and Paloma uses her magic of ambiance. The space Moose Lodge is a full, two-story apartment with a deep, covered, wrap-around deck. The first floor is a full kitchen, eat-in table and chairs, open floor plan to seating area. Upstairs is a landing, full bedroom with queen size bed, sitting area, walk-in closet, stackable washer/dryer, and a unique bathroom layout of two separate toilets and sinks with a shared shower. The irresistible deck includes full size patio table and chairs for eating, and a settee, chair, and table for lounging. There is a fire pit in the back yard. All of this is your private space during your stay. Guest access You will have access to the apartment, as described, plus deck and backyard, as well as the off-street parking space. There is a small room on the second floor for our personal use in between winter bookings, which is not accessible to guests.
