King's cottage by the Lake

This rustic chalet with a lake view and easy lake access comfortably accommodates 6 people. The lake is shallow and warms up quickly in summer. Come & enjoy a relaxing weekend sipping coffee on the front porch and watching the sunset at the beach or bring your bikes and explore the area, play badminton with the family, or take in a show at The Cabaret. A 15 min walk along the path brings you to the village, where you will find a cafe, grocery store, chocolate shop/bakery, restaurants, and a pub. King's cottage was originally built by Bob King and his family in 1965 and has retained much of its magical charm. The grounds are big enough for the kids to play and the lake inviting for all to enjoy. We have built on his initiative to add some comforts making it the perfect place to relax year-round and enjoy with family and friends, young and old.
