A private Sea Ranch refuge, tucked in a clearing surrounded by a fir forest. The Ridge Collection tells the story of a family's travels, encounters and influences through handmade furniture and curated paintings and sculptures. Our house was designed by Obie Bowman in 1978 with an addition by Dan Levin in 2003. This light-filled home has bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite ends of the house. There are two separate work areas with desks and strong internet connection. The bedrooms and living room open onto a sprawling deck with an outdoor dining area, hot tub, and grill. The private backyard seamlessly blends into the forest. Guests have access to the entire house except the garage. We are available for questions, requests and concerns throughout your booking and stay. Our house is located in Sea Ranch at the top of the ridge, about 400’ above sea level. At the foot of the driveway, you can enter a network of 50 miles of maintained trails. We are a 25-minute walk down to the Gualala River through a beautiful redwood forest. The beach is a 5-minute drive or 25-minute walk. Although our house is tucked just inside the forest, we are in a clearing that has sun for about 8 hours a day. There is ample parking in our driveway. You can park almost anywhere in Sea Ranch with your included vehicle tags.
