Nestled in Long Reef Condominium, Christiansted, this modern-vintage haven curated by host and artist Danica exudes Virgin Islands' charm through her artwork and more. Enjoy quick access to the pool and relax on the patio with panoramic views of the lush garden, ocean, and Buck Island. Your island escape awaits! The studio is in a tranquil gated community, showcasing Virgin Islands-inspired art by host St. Croix artist Danica and a few works from other Caribbean artists. One of Danica's favorite paintings includes a large still-life of locally grown fruits. Fruits that she would like to share when in season. Take a picture in front of her large-scale "Blue Rooster" painting to share on social media or as a personal keepsake, or schedule a private photoshoot in the pool with the "rooster float." Couples sleep comfortably in the queen-sized bed. When staying with a friend request accommodations for them to sleep in the queen-sized chaise sofa bed before arrival. The condo boasts clean linens, towels, sheer and blackout curtains, a cool A/C, a ceiling fan, a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap, a safe, a Westinghouse 50" Roku TV (including HULU, Amazon Prime, and Sling TV), Wi-Fi and a newly renovated a fully equipped modern kitchen, a small cooler, beach chairs, and beach towels. Guests can access the pool, outdoor lounge chairs, patio and seating areas, and BBQ. A coin–operated laundromat is also available. Please share the name of any additional guest accompanying you and both your government IDs upon arrival to facilitate a smooth check-in process. All guests names must be listed on the booking. Guests have access to the condo's common areas, the parking lot, and the pool. We are located nearby and are available via text for general accommodation questions from 7 am to 7 pm. For emergencies, call or text, and we will do our best to assist quickly. Long Reef Condominiums is a 5-minute walking distance from public transportation and from "Pueblo," a local supermarket. Fine dining restaurants, the boardwalk, shopping, art galleries, historical churches, sites, and Protestant Cay beach are located downtown (a 15 to 18 minute walk and a 6-minute drive). Fast food restaurants such as McDonald's, Subway, and Kentucky Fried Chicken are 5 to 7 minutes in walking distance. Two local banks are also close by. Heading north, Pelican Cove Beach at the Palms Restaurant is a 7-minute drive away. A rental car will be your best bet to get around the island. Most major companies are on St. Croix. However, we are within walking distance (5 minutes) from the public transportation route. Private taxi service is good also. If you need private taxi service let us know in advance. Please turn off A/C, lights, and fans when out for the day. Watercolor paint, pencils, paper, and canvas are available so guests can explore their creativity. Guests staying for a week or more will receive a complimentary watercolor art class, complete with included supplies, from the award-winning art educator and host, Danica.
