66° North - Quiet and natural Nordic house

Our peaceful holiday home in Swedish Lapland is perfect for nature lovers, Northern Lights enthusiasts, and sled dog adventures. The house has 3 comfortable bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 guests. It’s located in a remote area of Överkalix, near a large lake. The town center and its shops are just a five-minute drive away. The house is fully equipped and includes snowshoes, sleds, games, a barbecue hut (Grillkota), and a sauna. The space We are Robin and Margaux, a French couple who bought this 100 m² holiday home to enjoy Swedish Lapland with our family! The two main bedrooms, each with a double bed (140 cm), have been renovated for optimal comfort. A third bedroom has a single bed. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooktop, coffee machine, oven, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, and everything you need to cook up tasty meals. In the living room, there’s a speaker available for playing music. The house is heated with electric heaters, two geothermal radiators, and a very efficient enamel wood stove. There’s also a woodshed with free access to all the firewood you need. In the laundry room near the sauna, you’ll find a washing machine and a dryer. Guest access Our house is 1 hour and 20 minutes from Luleå Airport, where renting a car is very easy (Europcar, Sixt, Hertz, etc.). You can also take a train to Luleå. You will have access to the entire house (including the sauna), the barbecue hut, and the garage. Three pairs of adult snowshoes and one child-sized pair are available on the garage shelves. Whether in winter or summer, the region offers plenty of activities: local crafts, fishing, canoeing, Northern Lights hunting, cross-country and downhill skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, and visits to reindeer and moose farms. Other things to note We currently don’t have Wi-Fi or television. Mobile network coverage varies depending on the provider. To preserve the peace and quiet of the area, parties are not allowed.
