This sweet A-Frame hideaway located in a wooded neighborhood between Saugerties and Woodstock will welcome you and warm your spirit with its charm. Featuring 2 bedrooms, each with Queen Beds, and a couch that folds out to a Full Bed, there's ample space for 4. But, it's also a serene escape for an individual or couple. An inspiring creative retreat, the home has beautiful views, and an electric piano. Quiet but 10 mins from great restaurants! 11 mins to HITS, 30 mins to Hunter Mountain. The space This unique house is full of retro A-frame cabin charm with lots of darling details. FIREPLACE It has a cozy pellet stove. We will provide directions, or help you light it the first time if you wish to use it. BEDROOMS The first bedroom is on the first floor behind the living area. It has a door, so it is the most private area in the house. The second bedroom is upstairs, in a dreamy loft. It is located in a nook behind a closet but there is no door. You cannot see the bedroom from the main floor, but soundproofing is not one of our sweet house's main attractions. The cabin is best for small groups who want to spend time with each other, or individuals looking for some peace and restoration. That said, there is a fold down couch in the living area that is a bit smaller than a full bed, if you need it, too. KITCHEN The kitchen is functional and easy to use. There is an electric stove & oven, a large fridge, a toaster, and ample counter space. There is a drip coffee maker and a kettle. The appliances are on the older side so if you are looking for a chef's kitchen, this may not be your dream space! That said, we lived in the cabin before we started airbnb-ing it, and we were able to cook anything we wanted to, and actually loved the layout. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, you might want to let us know, and we can help you with any special cooking items you may need. We live nearby, and we cook a lot so we may have what you need. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE At this little sweet retreat, there is no TV. We hope you will embrace the peace and the wilderness.
