The Coach House

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful location in beautiful Somerset. The Coach House is a recently converted barn located in the quiet hamlet of Burcott just a mile from the Cathedral City of Wells, at the foot of the Mendip Hills. It is the perfect base to explore the county of Somerset with Glastonbury Tor, Wookey Hole Caves and Cheddar Gorge all within 20 minutes drive. There are 2 village pubs, a cafe and grocery shop all just a 15 minute walk away. The space The downstairs area is an open plan kitchen living room, with a dining table and breakfast bar. There is a woodburning stove for chilly winter days but underfloor heating will also provide warmth. There is a back door out on to iron-railing steps down to the outside seating area - these are not ideal for dogs unfortunately unless they can be carried down. The upstairs is a reasonable sized bedroom area with en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. Guest access There is plenty of parking space for 2 cars outside the property and a small paddock for dogs to stretch their legs in. Other things to note Although we are happy for you to bring your dogs, the outside seating area is access down some iron railing steps and these may not be suitable for your dog unless they can be carried down.
