ESCAPE AND UNWIND at Perch! Sleep elevated in the trees at this lakefront treehouse located on Lake Mitchell. This very unique stay features a main house with a full kitchen, a separate bedroom accessed by a covered walkway, and a second floor porch which opens up for a fully immersed view of the sunset. Enjoy a large living space under the house with a TV, bed swing, and outdoor double shower. Hang out on your private dock and pass the day away on "Lake Time." You are sure to leave rested! The space If you want to be totally secluded and right on the lake, Perch is the place you can go to truly relax. It is a unique waterfront retreat experience unlike any other, and I am so excited about sharing it with my guests! There's a main house with a full kitchen, full bathroom, and large windows with a lake view. The bedroom is separated from the house by a covered walkway and has its own air conditioning and heating unit. The second floor is only accessible by a vintage spiral staircase. This 2nd floor covered "porch" is completely open to the outside by mechanical screens that can be opened or closed. This is where the sofa bed is located if 4 people are staying or if you want to feel like you are sleeping outside and wake to undisturbed nature. There is also an AC unit for this space as well as a TV. Under the treehouse is an expansive outdoor area complete with a bed swing, TV, fan, lighting, corn hole game, swings, an enclosed outdoor double shower, and a charcoal BBQ grill. A fire pit with twinkle lights is on the ground level as well. Guest access You will have complete privacy with full access to the entire house, property, and dock. There will be nobody in sight! Other things to note *Perch is NOT suitable for children as it is 9 feet off the ground, tucked up in the trees. The spiral stairs are also not child-proof. With their greatest safety in mind, there is a strict No Children Policy. *Well-behaved, house-trained, and non-destructive dogs are allowed at the treehouse for a fee of $55 per dog. *Cats are not allowed. *To get to the lake, there are 149 stairs for you to get your exercise on and make you feel accomplished! *In the effort to be kindest to the earth while providing my guests with the most homey and cozy experience during their stay, I make the beds European-style, which is with a duvet cover over a comforter but without a top flat sheet. (The duvet is washed between each guest.) This is done to save both water during cleaning and energy in production. In no way is comfort compromised in this. However, if a top sheet is important to you, you will want to bring one along with you.
