The Woodsman at Vallis Farm w. Wild Pool & Hot Tub

This gorgeous Shepherd's Hut is nestled into the Market Garden at Vallis Farm. With no wifi or electricity, it's the perfect location to relax & reconnect. The Woodsman is one of two huts with a double bed & small wood burner. Outside you have a private seating area with fire pit and optional wood-fired hot tub (extra cost - ask for details). The nearby communal facilities comprise of our field kitchen, compost loo & gas shower. The natural swimming pool is open all year round (16+ only). The space Vallis Farm is a working Market Garden just outside of Frome. There are 2 off grid shepherd's huts, including this one, available for over night stays. No wifi, no electricity, the perfect retreat for a digital detox. The huts are situated in the Market Garden where we grow and harvest chemical free veggies for our local veg box subscribers. In the main house and surrounding gardens there are often small events taking place on the topics of Biodiversity, Food Sovereignty, Creativity and Wellness. Be sure to visit the events calendar on our website (vallisfarm dot co dot uk) to see what's on during your stay. Huts guests have year round access to our Natural Pool. The sauna is only lit on Friends of Vallis members' days; if you're staying on a members day get in touch, we'll try to fit you in for a swim and sauna. Guest access You will have private access to your hut - there is a padlock on the door to which you'll be given the code once you have booked. The Field Kitchen, compost loo and gas shower are communal. There is a Natural Pool onsite in which you are welcome to swim. Please enquire for more details when you book. Wood-fired hot tub - available with advance request. The hot tub will be filled with water before your arrival and you will be provided with enough wood for one use and clear instructions on how to use it.
