Located just 15 minutes by direct public bus from Geneva's city center, we offer this charming room with a beautiful view. The house is surrounded by a large, well-maintained garden with two terraces, perfect for reading and relaxing. The space This house belongs to my parents, who recently moved out. Since then I have been living here alone and supporting my mother who is in a nearby nursing home. Your room is on the first floor. If the room opposite is not rented, the bathroom is for your exclusive use. Otherwise, you share it with another Airbnb guest. The living room and kitchen are on the ground floor. There you will find a coffee machine with free coffee and tea. However, I do not otherwise share the kitchen with my guests. As you can see in the pictures, your room has, among other things, a bed with a comfortable, semi-firm mattress. WiFi, bed linen and hand and bath towels are provided. From the bedroom you can enjoy a wonderful view of nature and the mountains in the distance. Only about 100 meters from the house, untouched nature begins: fields, forests, and wild ponds where you can take a peaceful walk, relax, or go jogging—something I do regularly. For sporty guests, I rec-ommend a hike up Mount Salève. From the top, you’ll have a breathtaking view of the Geneva Basin and Mont Blanc. The hiking trail starts about 2 kilometers from our home. Guest access The atmosphere here is calm and relaxing, surrounded by nature. An ideal place to enjoy the moment, away from everyday stress. If this is what you are looking for, this place is perfect for you. After 9pm, I kindly ask my Airbnb-guests to avoid slamming doors, streaming without headphones and phone conversations to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for everyone. This house rule ensures that you can relax or concentrate during your stay. I look forward to spontaneous exchanges with you during your time here. If you arrive by car, a parking space is available on our property. If you arrive by public transport, the bus stop “Veyrier, Les Quibières” is only 80 meters away. Bus line 8 takes you directly and without changing to the city center (15 minutes), Cornavin Central Station (25 minutes), all international organizations such as UN, UNHCR, WTO, WIPO, WHO, ILO, IFRC etc. (in about 35 minutes) and Palexpo (in 45 minutes). Our bus stop is also served by bus line 41, either towards Thônex, Chêne-Bougeries and Chêne-Bourg station (in 15 minutes) or towards Carouge (in 30 minutes). A highlight of my offer: I will be happy to provide you with a free ticket for public transport for the entire Geneva region and for the duration of your stay – it is offered by Geneva-Tourism.
