The space The loft is located on the second floor (elevator access available) of the historic Aethelwold building, circa 1901, once an old hotel that saw guests from around the country, including former presidents. Recent renovations of the Aethelwold have tranformed it from a once bustling hotel steeped in history to a vibrant mixed use space, housing permanent residents, renters and business professionals. Inside the loft, you will find gorgeous wide plank hardwood floors, original exposed brick walls, a large, open river stone shower, earthy granite countertops, and a fully stocked kitchen and bath. We offer a comfortable king size bed and a queen size pull out that we would be happy to make up for you upon request. Eager to get outside? We are surrounded by beautiful mountains and protected National and state forest lands that are accessible by bike or short drive. The Brevard bike path is easily accessed from the apartment, allowing you to bike directly from the condo to Bracken Preserve or into Pisgah National Forest. Dupont and Gorges State forests are short drives away and offer beautiful hiking and biking trails, as well as an abundance of waterfalls. After your adventures, take advantage of our secured bike and gear storage space downstairs, conveniently located steps from your parking space.
