Close the curtains to retreat into your own little piece of seclusion. The space Designed as a couples escape, this unique float home truly has you on the waters edge. We have recently revamped it to offer a little bit of luxury, a little bit of boho, and a lot of relaxation.  You get to choose.  Take the kayaks out for a while, curl up on the bed and read, kickback & watch TV. As the sun goes down, start the BBQ, pour yourself a glass of wine, and cook up a feast on the on the 360′ deck surrounding Hex'd. Watch the sunset golden glow light up the river. Hand feed the friendly swans and ducks, or leave some fruit out to tempt the resident possums. Cook inside and enjoy your meal gazing at the river in protection.  Wake up to the sounds of the birds on the river, let the blinds roll up while still in bed and watch the sun dissolve the morning river mist, as the pelicans and ducks drift by on the calm waters. Hex'd on Murray is designed for adapting to living on the river. No matter what the weather is, you can move to where it's comfortable. Bask in the sun shine, head for the shade, sit in the breeze. The nearest town is Murray Bridge - 10 km away. As per MARINA RULES, there is to be NO raw firewood used within the marina. We supply a complimentary starter bag & a shopping bag of CHARCOAL for each guest. If you would like extra, please let us know. Extra Starter bag & charcoal bag $10. PETS: Pets are allowed only with an extra fee of $100 AUD to be charged after your stay IF the pets leave the place too messy. We would appreciate it if your dog doesn't sleep on or in the bed especially if they are prone to shredding lots of fur - if they do please take every precaution to minimise dog hair being left in the bedding e.g. BYO dog bed or bring a blanket for them to sleep on. The marina has basic rules around dogs: 1) please pick up after your dog - we have supplied some bags on board to assist (bins with yellow lids are used for all rubbish) 2) when not on the boat, dogs are to be kept on a leash at ALL times - there are other dogs and vehicles moving constantly in the marina, should you allow your dog to be off a lead this is at your own risk 3) dogs are not to be left unattended
