Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape on the Schroon River in the Adirondacks at Frontier Town which was one of the oldest theme parks in America where Johnny Cash and June Carter performed. The park was designed after the Wild West with steam train, railway bandits, bucking broncos, trick riders, and much more. The property has the largest A frame in North America which was recently renovated into a restaurant, event venue and outpost/general store. This is a high-end Safari Tent on the beautiful Schroon River in the heart of the Adirondacks. It features a queen size bed plus a mid-century modern leather futon, grill with zero gravity chairs, a double hammock, a card/dining table with chairs, cast iron pans, utensils, dining ware, lighter, lights with phone chargers, trunks for storage with extra blankets and pillows, a private island you can walk to and much more. You are also welcome to bring an additional air mattress or purchase one from our country store/trading post which has all the necessities. We also have a full service bar/restaurant and event venue in the largest A-frame in North America. This is a short drive or walk from our tent which is directly off of the former air-strip. The river is only steps away from the tent, and we encourage you to paddle or swim in the river, walk over to Paradox Brewery, hike our 50+ acres and explore all the Adirondacks has to offer. Very safe area Plenty of parking by the trading post and you can also park next to the tent which is directly off the former airstrip.
