The property features bright, comfortable spaces with carefully selected furnishings and a large window in the living area overlooking the Mediterranean. The house is reached via approximately 150 steps. A porter service for luggage can be arranged upon request for an additional fee. The space ACCOMMODATION FEATURES The house is organized on two levels: MAIN Floor • Mediterranean living room with large window overlooking the sea and small balcony, furnished with sofa bed and table for six; • Kitchen, open to the living room, fully equipped; • 1 double bedroom (bed size 160x190) with window overlooking the sea; • 1 bathroom with shower • 1 bathroom with large shower and laundry area 1st Floor Mezzanine - Sleeping area • 1 bedroom with French bed (bed size 140x190) 2ND Floor Mezzanine - Sleeping area • 1 bedroom with single bed • access to the terrace overlooking the sea furnished with a table for an outdoor drink. Casa Madonna del Mare is located on the east side of Praiano, in a very quiet and peaceful area. It is possible to reach the Villa through about 150 steps. Private parking is available upon request for a fee and is located approximately 500 meters from the property. We recommend to reach us without a car. LOCATION AND NEARBY ATTRACTIONS Casa Madonna Del Mare is ideal for guests seeking privacy, tranquility, and unique panoramic views, while staying close to services and coastal attractions: • Grocery store (Tutto per Tutti), around 15 min walking uphill • Main beach - Marina di Praia - 200 m walking downhill • Bars, restaurants and Local bus stops just a few minutes’ walk downhill • Shuttle and bus connections to Positano, Amalfi, and other destinations along the Amalfi Coast - 150 stairs, walking downhill Note: All services and points of interest are reached by going up or down steps, in line with the typical urban layout of Praiano and the Amalfi Coast. This feature is part of the authentic local experience but makes the property more suitable for guests comfortable with walking and stairs. ACCESS AND PARKING Casa Madonna Del Mare is located in a pedestrian-only area, typical of Praiano, and cannot be reached directly by car. Access is exclusively on foot, walking up around 150 stairs. For this reason, the property is not recommended for guests who do not enjoy walking, climbing stairs, or who have mobility issues. Upon request, a paid porter service can be arranged for luggage assistance at check-in and check-out. • Private paid parking available on request at approximately 400 meters from the property (advance booking strongly recommended, especially in high season). • Public paid parking available at approximately 600 meters from the property. Parking is not reservable and may be crowded in high season due to the limited number of spaces. GETTING AROUND Thanks to its strategic location, Casa Madonna Del Mare allows guests to explore the Amalfi Coast easily even without a car. • Boat excursions from Praiano (Marina di Praia – approx. 300 m, walking downstairs): The most scenic and relaxing way to travel along the coast. Ideal for visiting Capri, Positano, Amalfi, and sea-access-only coves while avoiding traffic and parking issues. • Public buses (SITA and local buses – stop approx. 100 m away, walking downstairs): Regular connections to Positano and Amalfi. A practical and economical option, though often crowded and slower during high season. • Private driver: Offers comfort and flexibility, with higher costs compared to public transport and limited availability during peak periods. Advance booking (at least one day ahead) is recommended. • On foot: The most authentic way to experience Praiano. All services are reachable by walking, always involving steps and elevation changes typical of the area. Recommended for guests accustomed to walking. • Scooter rental: Provides greater independence in terms of schedules and routes, but is recommended only for experienced riders comfortable with narrow and busy coastal roads.
