Description
Stay in a unique accommodation in a quiet corner of beautiful Österlen. Enjoy the tranquility and privacy of the river that flows past this unique building. The fire station, which was built in 1930, was completely renovated into a dream home in 2018 and has since not only served as a holiday home but has also been featured on both Swedish and German TV as well as in lots of newspaper reports. Up to 8 people can live here comfortably with everything you need. Proximity to beaches and cozy villages included. The space The fire station has 4 floors where the top three are small bedrooms (for 2 people each). Here you sleep in the tower with the river, trees and meadows outside the window. Outside on the plot about 20 meters from the house is the fourth bedroom in a separate small cozy house of 15 sqm (with shower/toilet/kitchenette) and views of the river and the garden. The washing machine is located in the basement, which is accessed by an electrically operated hatch in the kitchen floor. The fire station is a unique accommodation with special details. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property (fire station, plot and cottage). Other things to note Please note that the Fire Station has many long and narrow stairs that do not fit small children or people with mobility problems and that two of the bedrooms in the Fire Station do not have a door. The properties have three bathrooms that are connected to the municipal sewage with a sewage grinder/pump. The fire station is located in a small village about 2 km from the nearest store and about 10 minutes by car to Ystad (larger city). Own car is necessary as this accommodation is remote. As the accommodation is unique, guests are asked to read the instruction book located in the house carefully.
