Your place: Maison Stirling is perfectly positioned on a hilltop overlooking the medieval village of Saint-Julien-de-Civry. A quick 2-minute drive from Maison Stirling brings you down to the village bakery each morning for a croissant. A scenic 1.5 hour drive takes you to Beaune, the heart of Bourgogne wine country. Follow the wine road, Route des Grands Crus, and discover little villages and idyllic landscapes. Within a 2-3 hour drive, visit Annecy or Chamonix, access skiing or hiking in the French and Swiss Alps or enjoy Lyon, the gastronomical capital of France. These splendid locales are close enough to savor, yet far enough away to ensure a tranquil escape at home. Locally, you can visit nearby medieval villages with festivals, brocantes, outdoor markets, and splendid restaurants. At home, rest and dine al fresco by the pool or indoors by the fireplace. The home has four bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 8 adults. Each bedroom boasts panoramic views of the Saone-et-Loire countryside. The privately-situated house is located on a 1-acre plot and with a large garden and pool. On the second floor: - Bedroom 2 with a double-sized bed (140x200); - Bedroom 3 with a king-sized bed (180x200); - Bedroom 4 with two double beds (140x200 and 140x200) - Bathroom with shower, washbasin, separate WC.
