Pleasant holiday home with fantastic location just a few steps from the jetty at Skjærhalden. Only 300 meters to beach with cliffs, diving tower, and floating jetty. Holiday house with a lower floor with two bedrooms with family bunks (lower bunk 120 cm) and a large living room with double sofa bed. Bathrooms with toilet, sink and shower. On the main floor, there is an open living/kitchen area. TV without channels but internet is free of charge. Large, lovely terrace on several sides of the house and large awning. Bathroom with toilet and shower on this floor as well. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Washing machine and dryer. There are some steep stairs in the house, but with stair railings. At the marina, there are saltwater aquariums with local fish during summer, and a small crab fishing spot. The owner has a boat berth that can be used (up to 2.5 meters wide). Hvaler has several thousand islands. There is a ferry a few minutes' walk from the house, where you can go "island hopping" to the islands of Herføl and Nordre and Søndre Sandøy with the ferry "Oline". There is a café at Nordre Sandøy, and good food at the restaurant at Herføl. Bicycles can be borrowed/rented through Hvaler municipality and are great for island hopping, check under Hvaler Kommune. If you want to go to Sweden, it is only 50 minutes by boat Vesleø to Strømstad. The ferry has its own duty-free shop on board, and Strømstad is a cozy coastal town with grocery stores and restaurants, all within walking distance. The house is not let to youth groups.
