Our Little House on the Prairie

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The space Our little house on the prairerie is a 40 years old house, built as a home for the director of Cattle breeding station next door. Now, a family home of ours, Benni, Ella and our three children. We enjoy our 800 sq. meter garden with wild-ish trees, grass and wildflowes. We have rich birdlife and you might hear the European golden plover, Common snipe, Eurasian oystercatcher, redwing or the Black-tailed Godwit in the summertime. Through summer and fall we are surrounded by horses in the fields all around the house, since there is horse training farm next door. Our two cats, Kanill (yellow) and Tumi will be staying at the house throughout guests stay. They are very friendly, happy with anyone and used to spend time with young people. They love a cuddle and we provide you with food that we ask you to give them dayly along with water. We also leave little snacks you can give them for extra treats for you and them to enjoy while making a connection. Guest access Our home is a 100 sq m house with open concept kitchen, diner and living room. The main bedroom is queen sized double bed. The kids room is equipt with two single beds and adventurous tree house themed bunker beds. Our single bathroom has a shower. Laundry room has one washing machine and one washer/dryer unit. The garden is surrounded with fenced in horses, great views in all directions and walking pathways all around us. The small patio has a small BBQ. Parking is right outside our garden with plenty of space. Other things to note We are renting out our family home and have two lovely cats that would need to stay with guests. They are friendly and very self sufficient. The only thing we ask guests to do for us is feeding them 1-2 times a day (evening and morning). We let them sleep in the foyer at night and if prefered they can stay there during your entire stay, since they can go in and out of the home as they please through a cat door in the foyer. If you or anyone in your group has allergies, are afraid of cats or do not like the arrangement, please do not book this accommodation.
