Studio Apartment / Guest House in Coombabah

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene house. This ground floor studio style apartment is great for a couple (or up to four) looking for a home base while exploring the beautiful Gold Coast. You will have your own court yard and a shared swimming pool. The backyard is home to our German Shepard X, Crash. You are very welcome to interact with him but please respect that this is his space. Please check the photos for a better idea of the amenities and layout. The space The property is dual occupancy, as such.... Guests will have full and private access to the studio style guesthouse. Walk into the beautiful, recently renovated living/dinning/office/bedroom (which also has WIFI and a Chrome Cast hooked up to the TV). Each area has a dedicated space and feels open and inviting. Off to the side is a separate room with a kitchen and additional seating area. The kitchen has a full sized fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. In addition to this, there is also an electronic hotplate and air fryer along with other standard kitchen appliances/needs. The seating area can be turned into a twin bed arrangement at the request of the guests. Please be aware, this will incur additional costs per guest. Just down the short hallway, you will find a fully functioning laundry and dryer, as well as a separate bathroom/toilet. The shower in this space is very large and comfortably fits two. Guest access Guests can park to the left side of the driveway (only) or on street. The lounge room windows look out into a private and covered courtyard. The courtyard is accessible via a gate to the left of the front door. Please don't take any indoor furniture outside (eg, chairs). All other windows look out over the backyard which is the dedicated dog space. This space is accessible through the back/laundry door. You are welcome to interact with our German Shepard X, Crash, but please reframe from bringing him inside and/or feeding him without our prior knowledge. The pool is a communal space and can be accessed via the gate on the right of the driveway. In this space you will find a large outdoor table set and a king double day bed. The double garage and 2nd floor are not included in this listing Other things to note Please note: You are not obliged to engage with the dog. However, if you are not comfortable around large animals please reconsider making this booking. Please note: Coombabah is a Mangrove zone and is prone to midgies. The best way to combat the biting beasts is as follows: Midgies come out at dusk and dawn. You can choose to either ... - Take daily antihistamines (my preferred option) - Cover yourself with Bushman's (other brands aren't as affective). You will find a can of this above the laundry sink. - For aftercare, use ItchEase (again, other brands aren't as affective). You will also find a tube of this above the laundry sink. OR - Avoid being outside in the area at these times
