The relaxing and quiet Woodhaven Homestead sits on 85 acres of secluded wooded forest, less than 10 minutes from downtown Belfast! An expansive deck with sunset views, a large fire pit, access to a full garden, and an incredible outdoor shower all offer a true Maine vacation experience. You have complete privacy with the luxury of being within short distance to popular Midcoast Maine destinations & adventures. Excellent access to hiking, cycling, kayaking, shopping, and delicious dining. The space The homestead is just a 10 minute drive to downtown Belfast, yet you feel completely remote on the property without a neighbor in sight. The home offers peace & quiet, along with beauty & play. The beamy main floor is open concept with a kitchen, dining space, living room, and a play space if children stay. Upstairs is a bedroom with a queen bed and space for yoga or meditation if that suits you during your stay. The second bedroom is downstairs, with a sliding door that opens to a stone patio and lawn. There is a pull-out queen-size bed in this room with a wood stove that makes it feel extra cozy. There is a third bedroom adjacent to the wood stove room with has a twin size bed. Guest access Entire homestead. Other things to note We will be raising pigs on the homestead during the summer and fall months. The pig area is set away from the house; you can choose to visit the pigs or keep your distance. Someone will be feeding the pigs once per day and will access the pig area without disturbing your privacy.
