This historic and charming, multi-family was built in the early 1800s and still has a historic feel to it with crooked doors and uneven floors, but that is what gives it charm. Within its historic bones, we have added modern amenities to make sure your stay feels comfortable, cozy, and up to today's standards. This is a two-story townhome located in the heart of Bristol. The first floor of the home features a full dining room that seats 6; a living room with a convertible couch and flatscreen tv with smart capabilities; a bathroom with full tub/shower combo including towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hairdryer, iron, washer and dryer; a full kitchen including cookware, utensils, sink, stove/oven, full fridge, coffee maker, French press, and microwave. On the second floor there are two bedrooms with queen beds, A/C in windows (for summer), remote heating units (for winter), and nightstands. Due to the age of the house, closets were not a necessity in the old days, so our bedrooms include dressers and a large communal hanging closet at the top of the stairs. All amenities you could need for your stay are available for use. The backyard is a communal space with the attached townhouse complete with separate BBQ, sitting area, and firepit. Access to the backyard is through the kitchen. You have two entrances: front door and back porch into kitchen. You have complete access to the residence. There is a tenant next door in an identical townhouse with private entrances. You will not share access, they are completely separate. We live in the area and are available should any problems arise. Just 30 minutes south of the Capital city of Providence, Bristol is an unknown treasure to those who visit. This quaint town boasts beautiful water views and historic architecture. The home is located in the center of downtown walking distance to restaurants, shops, and parks. We are just a few blocks away from the start of the 14.5 mile East Bay bike path that travels along the water all the way to India Point Park in Providence. If you are visiting for the 4th of July, we are just steps away from the oldest 4th of July parade route and Independence Park where the carnival is held.
