The Getaway - at Horseshoe Lake

Nestled away on a small, private lake on the outskirts of Batavia lies a hidden treasure... A picture perfect place to get away from all the stresses of modern day life. You will feel like you've escaped to someplace much further away than you actually are - yet options for shopping, dining and entertainment can be found just minutes away. If you love the serenity of waterfont property, but don't love the sounds of jetskis and party boats screaming by all day, then this is the place for you. The space The Getaway is a freshly remodeled three bedroom, one bath lake house. The master bedroom includes a queen bed and features incredible lake views as well as a sliding door to the lakeside deck. You will fee like you're sleeping in a treehouse. The second bedroom is on the back of the house and also features a queen bed. The third bedroom is a converted sunporch with walls of lake view windows and includes a comfy full size futon. This room can also be used as a flex space if three bedrooms are not needed. The main entertaining space consists an open concept floorplan with full brand new kitchen open to great room. The great room sectional sofa also includes a pull out bed for overflow sleeping, better suited to kids than adults. A wall of windows allows for incredible lake views day and night. Other things to note Guest parking for up to 3 vehicles is located above the house, with a wide, sturdy staircase leading guests down to the house. Additional vehicle parking, if needed, is available a few doors down at beach parking lot. Horseshoe lake is a quiet, private lakefront community. Please respect the neighbors by obeying speed limits and quiet hours. Gas engines are not permitted on the lake so you will enjoy peace and quiet throughout your stay. Guests will have access to 2 kayaks and may bring their own kayaks or canoes if desired. Horseshoe Lake features a private beach with shallow and deep water areas, a diving board and a waterslide. Swimming is permitted only when lifeguard is on duty. Please be respectful of all beach rules when enjoying time at the beach.
