Cabin built in 2022 in the country near Lake George, Colorado. Cabin sits on 3.5 acres and borders National Forest on 2 sides. Great place for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding. Eleven Mile reservoir is nearby with great fishing and boating. Cabin has a single loft bedroom, with full kitchen, bathroom, and laundry..The cabin is in the heart of fishing paradise with Eleven mile canyon and Reservoir, Tarryall Lake and the legendary Dream stream. Other things to note Plenty of jeep and off road trails nearby also. Favorite hiking places/drives nearby include Guffey Gorge, Eleven Mile Canyon, and Tarryall Canyon (one of my favorite places in Colorado). Cabin and property are all “yours”, no other guests on property except for the elk, deer, and chipmunks. Airbnb will automatically send the door code and directions on the day of your checkin. The wifi information and my cell number is on the information sheet inside the cabin. As for places to eat, it depends on how far you want tor drive. The cabin is 13 miles from Florissant and about 10 miles from Lake George. The town of Guffey is also fairly close. The Restaurant in Guffey has a great steak and you will enjoy the drive. If you want more dining options, Cripple Creek or Woodland Park are each about 40 minutes away and lots of options there. If you have time, I suggest visiting Cripple Creek, Victor, Guffey, and Woodland Park. The cabin has a full kitchen and there is a small grocery store in Florissant if you want to do your own cooking. I suggest you stop by a grocery store on the way to cabin. There is a fire pit in the front yard, with lighter fluid behind the cabin for lighting the fire pit. Please ensure the fire is completely out in the fire pit if used. I will do my best to keep firewood available, but if you run out, you can purchase at various places around the county, or look for dead wood on the property. Do not cut down live trees on the property or in the National Forest! Open fires are not permitted in Park county, so keep fire in the firepit and the lid on it. Fire restrictions change based on conditions and change often. Always best to check with Park County Sheriff department website to see if there are any fire restrictions. Please make sure the fire is completely out if you use the fire pit! Cabin has wifi with internet access provided by Starlink. Plenty of bandwidth to work and stream unlimited. Cabin is accessed via a county maintained dirt road. If you can’t drive on a dirt road, please do not book. The Private Driveway to the cabin is about 75 feet long (flat) and directly off of the county maintained road. We do our best to keep the driveway cleared of snow in the winter, but sometimes guests may have to walk up the 75 foot driveway if we can’t get the driveway cleared in time for your stay. The Pike National Forest borders the cabin and there are many places to hike just out the front door. Trails adjacent to the cabin are mostly animal trails (not maintained), or you can hike wherever you want in your national forest.
