Other things to note Fall at the Inn Fall is a wonderful time to visit! From Middle September through Thanksgiving the Inn is decorated for the season with pumpkins, gourds, autumn wreaths, and warm seasonal touches throughout the house and porch. Enjoy crisp air, colorful leaves on the 22-acre property, and the peaceful sound of the creek. Christmas at the Inn Stay with us in December or early January for a holiday getaway. The entire Inn is fully decorated, with a Christmas tree in every guest room and lights and garlands in the common areas. The setting feels like a Hallmark movie. Christmas photos are mixed in with the regular Inn photos in our gallery. Summer at the Inn In warmer months, bring a swimsuit—Maggodee Creek is a short, easy walk from the front door. The water is clear and shallow in most spots, ideal for wading, swimming, or cooling off. Picnic tables and chairs are set along the bank for a relaxed day by the creek. We’re a registered short-term rental with Franklin County and complete the county’s annual inspection. Working smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are in place for your stay.
