Jack's Barn and Deerleap

Two adjacent 5* Gold Award cottages, linked but fully independent, each with plenty of outdoor space. Deerleap sleeps 4 and Jack's Barn sleeps 10 (+cots). Sunday 8pm checkout for 2-night weekends. The big kitchen table in Jack's Barn can seat 22 for dining, with two dishwashers to reduce kitchen friction. Lilycombe lists lots to do. Book exclusive use of the 15 metre indoor pool. Pub walks aplenty. Cinema / games room for rainy days. Wells, Bath, Longleat, Cheddar, Bruton within 30 mins by car. The space In a lovely rural location within the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the properties are two of the three at Lilycombe Farm. They both are 5* Gold Award winners. Bath is about 30 minutes, Wells 10 minutes, Cheddar 15 minutes, (by car). There is lots to do at Lilycombe, with spacious grounds, fabulous 15 metre indoor pool heated to 30°C and games room with table football and table tennis. The two properties together have 7 double bedrooms, mostly en suite, so can sleep 14 plus babies in cots. They are particularly well suited for multi-generation families with something to celebrate. The kitchen at Jack's Barn is the hub for dining, with room for up to 22 people! Outside, a large table on the terrace can seat everyone for a barbeque. Private chefs can be arranged in advance for a special dinner and those wishing to chill can book treatments and massages in the treatment room within the pool building. Both properties have woodburning stoves with a plentiful supply of logs, great wifi, and generous space. There is private parking for each property within their grounds. In the cinema, you can stream any Netflix, Amazon or iPlayer content from your account onto the big screen, and you can play your own music from your smartphone through the Sonos sound system in the pool. Deerleap is not designed for those with limited mobility, since the bedrooms are upstairs. But Jack's barn has level access from its parking all through its living space to two ground floor double bedrooms with en suite wetrooms. All beds are really comfortable 6ft doubles, which can also be made up as twins upon request when booking. Somerset has so much to offer. Lovely pub walks, wetland nature reserves, caves at Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole, Longleat, Wells Cathedral and Bishops Palace, farmers' markets, museums, historic houses and gardens and, of course, cider.
