Our clean and spacious 3 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms Bahama Bay villa is around 1200 square feet, which gives you plenty of room to unwind after visiting the theme parks. Bahama Bay is located in a safe, residential neighbourhood and is a gated community with security for your added peace of mind. Our PLATINUM unit has the Abacos floor plan, is located on the second floor of building #31 within the resort, is completely revamped from top to bottom (no carpet!), and equipped with all newer appliances, comfortable furniture and fixtures. Enjoy the hot showers and super comfy beds (king size bed in primary bedroom and queen size in two other rooms with plenty of soft and firm pillows to choose from). The couch in the living room is also a queen size pullout to offer an additional sleeping area if needed. Each and every room has its own big smart TV with Disney+ and Xumo streaming as well as Spectrum cable. Our suite also has central air-conditioning / heating for your comfort (with UV light) and an electric wall mounted fireplace in one of the bedrooms. EVERY room has a ceiling fan :) There is also not one but TWO fully screened in small patio/balconies for you to enjoy. Unlike many other units at Bahama Bay, we also provide our guests with PRIVATE high speed Wi-Fi, as well as the resort Wi-Fi! We also provide our guests with free local and international calling to over 70 countries. Our villa is privately owned so there are NO resort fees, no extra charges and no surprise fees to pay upon check-in. Parking is completely FREE and we provide you with a keyless entry code to our suite, so no need to visit the front desk to check in, or pickup a key, etc. Please note that our suite is located on the second floor, so stairs are required (there are no elevators at the resort unfortunately). Our villa is located in a safe, 24 hour gated community in a 70 acre tropical resort, with 1200+ palm trees, and several inground HEATED pools (open year-round), hot tubs and splash pad area for your family to enjoy! There is also a tennis / pickle ball court, basketball court, giant shuffle board game, a playground, several scenic walking paths with a fountain, a fishing dock, a mock sandy beach type area with tiki huts, sun loungers, hammocks, beach volleyball and ping-pong as well as an onsite restaurant and bar with billiards and a spa/salon! You can even do some fishing in Lake Davenport right off the resort dock! We can’t forget about the gas grills for bbq! Not only is our villa located around 9 miles from the Disney World parks, but it is also conveniently located in close proximity to Walmart, Target, Publix (grocery store), Starbucks and other coffee shops (Dutch Bros Coffee just 2 miles), shopping, pharmacy, liquor stores, gas stations, several restaurants, and golf courses. Our villa is close enough to the theme parks that if you get the timing right, you can even see the Disney fireworks from our resort! But it is also far enough away from the hustle and bustle so you can also relax and enjoy your well deserved vacation. We really are the superhosts with the most! Our villa has a FULL size kitchen, which includes all major appliances such as a refrigerator, oven/stove, and microwave. Our kitchen is also loaded with lots of cookware / pots and pans, tons of kitchen utensils, wine opener, wine glasses and other glassware, dinnerware (including child dinnerware & utensils), spices, several small appliances like drip coffee maker & Keurig, electric kettle, four slice-toaster, blender, slow cooker/crockpot, etc. Our villa feels like a home! You will find all the comforts and conveniences of home. For example, there is free in-suite laundry. And there's lots of clean kitchen towels, bath towels & beach towels, as well as extra blankets and spare bedding available for you to use during your stay. We also provide many extras including a starter supply of coffee/kcups, tea, toilet paper, paper towel, tissues, laundry & dishwasher pods, kitchen sponge, dish soap, hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bars of soaps and garbage bags. There are also cleaning supplies available in our suite. We have TWO (2) pack & play pens in our suite, a high chair, booster seat, a jogger stroller and a side-by-side double jogger stroller. Our villa is designed as the perfect place for snowbirds, couples, families, as well as those travelling solo, or working remotely. As you walk into our condo, you will instantly be impressed! With FOUR (4) heated swimming pool areas, FIVE (5) hot tubs, a splash pad, a mock white sandy beach area by the lake, hammocks, beach volleyball, ping/pong, pickle ball, tennis and basketball court, playground structure, gas and coal BBQ picnic areas, a poolside restaurant/bar, nature walking paths and so much more!! It is also a keyless entry, and you will be provided with your unique code shortly before your reservation start date :) Other things to note Free outdoor parking. Motorcyles are allowed, but cannot be on a trailer. Boats (including jet skis) and trailers (including RVs) are not allowed. Our suite is located on the second floor of condo building. Guests are required to use the stairs. There are no elevators unfortunately. Occasional sounds may be heard from guests staying on floor above. Bahama Bay Resort & Spa is a cashless resort. All major credit cards are accepted. The resort is also a nature reserve and there may be wildlife present. The “beach” is a man-made sandy beach area by one of the main pools, with Lake Davenport adjacent. No swimming is permitted in the lake. Fishing of the dock is allowed (with fishing license of course, see front desk for assistance). The onsite fitness center/gym is owned and operated by Vacasa so unfortunately they do not allow access to our guests. However, at the resort, you also have full access to the basketball, tennis courts, pools, nature paths and more. Note that the cleaning fee is a one time departure cleaning fee. Daily housekeeping service or restocking of toiletries/paper products is not provided. However feel free to inquiry with hosts for rates if additional cleaning services are needed during your stay :) In case of inclement weather, or due to necessary repairs, certain resort amenities may be temporarily closed or unavailable during your stay. We cannot guarantee the availability of each amenity but will do our best to help keep you informed if we do hear of an amenity closure/maintenance during your stay.
