Stay at Millie's and you will find yourself relaxing in our cozy home. We are centrally located to Downtown Wooster, College of Wooster, Ohio State Agricultural Institute, and Amish Country. There is plenty of nearby shopping, dining, outdoor activities, and the Wayne County Fairgrounds. Wayne and Holmes Counties are home to Amish Country. Here you will be able to shop and dine in their specialty stores. Plenty of outdoor activities for you to enjoy at nearby parks and recreational areas. The space Our nearly 100-year-old home offers charm and comfort. The hardwood floors upstairs are original. They will creak when walked upon. Our flooring is original, so the stairs are small and steep. Please watch your steps. We love our sitting room where you can relax in the big green recliners while listening to the stereo. Relax in our living room by either watching our Smart TV, reading a book or magazine, or playing one of the board games. Have your meals at our 6-seat table. Our kitchen has the comforts of home and a Keurig coffee machine with a variety of coffees and teas. You will find extra teas in the cabinet by the refrigerator. We are within walking distance of downtown Wooster and the Wayne County Fairgrounds. In just minutes you can shop in Amish Country. College of Wooster is less than two miles away. A shower was added to the bathroom since 100 year old homes only had tubs. Please watch your head and hands while showering. Also, please keep the inner shower curtain in the tub when using the water in the shower/tub. During the warmer months, the upstairs will be warmer as well. The house does have AC, so keeping the bedroom doors shut will help keep the cold air in each room. I have also added fans to each room for your convenience. Pets (two animals, under 50 pounds a pet) are welcome, but they are NOT ALLOWED to stay alone in the home. Damage fees will occur, as well as possible eviction. Guest access You will enter either the side or front door with your personalized entry code. This code will have a set time and date for usage. We have a washer and dryer on-site in our basement. Please watch your steps and the ceiling is lower. Please bring your own detergent. Other things to note The house may be hotter upstairs during the warmer months. Please keep the bedroom doors shut to keep the cold air in. Fans are provided for your convenience. Please watch your steps in the home. The flooring is original from when the home was built, so they are smaller and steeper. A shower was added to the tub. The ceiling is .low due to the age of the home. Please watch your head and hands while using the shower and keep the inner curtain in the tub to keep water inside the tub. I have RING Doorbells located on each door. They record movement and sounds when constantly. They can be reviewed during and after your stay.
