Traditional stone walls and locally-made furniture create a authentic Sicilian atmosphere that you’ll love! The villa is set over three floors. Walking into the main floor through an arched door leads you to the living area furnished with a sofa, a dining table, and a stone fireplace. There are two large French windows that lead out to the terrace and offer amazing views. The industrial-style kitchen is next to this room, and there is also a small guest bathroom. This main ground floor has seven bedrooms, each accessible through a private door from the villa’s outdoor area. There are three double bedrooms at the front with sea views, and three double bedrooms are at the back of the property. There is also a triple bedroom (with one double bed and one single bed making it ideal for families) at the side of the villa. All bedrooms have wonderful style and ensuite bathrooms with showers. You can find three bedrooms on the lower ground floor. All three bedrooms have double beds, and ensuite bathrooms with showers. They lead out to the lower terrace with amazing sea views via French windows. There is also a first floor that you can reach via an external staircase. There are two more double bedrooms here. These bedrooms have characteristic wooden ceilings, double beds, ensuite bathrooms, and spectacular sea views. The garden, pool area, and outside areas at this villa will delight you. There’s so much space that you and your guests can really stretch out and enjoy the great Sicilian weather. The villa’s look is charming and 100% Sicilian with its stone walls. To the back of the villa there’s a lush Mediterranean garden with shady spots. But the highlight for many is the large terrace at the front of the property. This terrace is furnished with dining tables and a comfy sitting area, and has extraordinary views out across the countryside and out to sea. It’s the ideal spot for aperitivos and leisurely al fresco lunches. The pool area is set below the villa. You can reach it via a small path and some steps. This infinity pool is surrounded by sunloungers and sun umbrellas and is the place to be to relax completely. The panoramic pool offers amazing sea views, and below in the countryside you can even see Fornace Penna that was made famous by the Inspector Montalbano series! The pool area also has two gazebos that offer some shade for warm days. Guest access Guests can access all areas of the space. Other things to note The villa’s caretaker and his wife who manages the villa’s cleaning service and breakfast service live at the property, and are available should guests have any problems until to 2:00 pm. An in-villa cook service is available upon request, and has an extra cost. A dog and a cat live at Corte della Rocca.
