Welcome to Les Terres de Gaalon Estate Stay at Le Presbytère, a carefully renovated 1762 residence combining historic charm with modern comfort. A place designed for family get-togethers or time with friends, just 2 hours from Paris and around 30 minutes from Cabourg and Deauville. In a separate outbuilding, enjoy a private wellness area: swim spa, sauna, and gym, with an accessible sleeping option (PRM). The space This characterful manor offers large, light-filled spaces, elegant décor, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s ideal for gathering as a group while still enjoying plenty of space and comfort. The dining room, with its monumental fireplace, is perfect for sharing generous meals and convivial moments. The living room continues the experience with a cosy ambiance and a unique heritage touch, notably thanks to its panoramic Zuber wall tapestry (1840). Here, getting together feels effortless—whether with family or friends. The semi-professional kitchen and adjoining back kitchen (with large fridges/freezers) make meals easy to organize and naturally invite you to enjoy long, shared tables, from breakfast to lingering dinners. In a wellness-dedicated outbuilding, a truly private cocoon awaits: a swim spa, sauna, bathroom, and a lounge with an accessible sleeping option (PRM). Upstairs, a fully equipped gym completes the space. The 7 bedrooms are designed for comfort: Epéda-brand bedding, “Tradition des Vosges” bed linen, and towels provided. Depending on your needs, each room can be set up as a double bed or two single beds, upon request. Outdoors The manor opens onto a courtyard garden with an intimate feel—perfect for enjoying the peace and quiet. The south-facing terrace invites you to breakfast and lunch in the shade of the trees, soothed by rustling leaves and the fresh air of the Normandy countryside. Manor layout Ground floor: • Beautiful entrance hall with cloakroom and a stunning elm staircase • Warm living room + dining room • Music room • Library / TV area (for reading or relaxing) • Large kitchen + practical back kitchen • Laundry room • 2 toilets (including 1 accessible/PRM) First floor: • 3 bedrooms, including 2 suites • 2 bathrooms: 1 private; 1 shared/communicating between a suite and the 3rd bedroom (dual access, no walk-through) Second floor: • 4 bedrooms, arranged in two separate areas accessed via a double staircase • 2 bathrooms, each shared by 2 bedrooms, with access from both sides (communicating doors that can be closed as needed) A “home-from-home” spirit: the house is intentionally very well equipped, with many everyday essentials available so you can settle in comfortably from the moment you arrive. • Fiber internet / Wi-Fi available • Fireplace: wood available in winter • Weber gas barbecue available • Need to accommodate more guests? You can also book other houses on site (for 2, 6, and two houses for 10 guests). Heated swimming pool The estate’s pool is open from mid-April to the end of September and heated to around 29°C. Surrounded by plenty of sun loungers, it’s a true relaxation area—ideal for enjoying the calm of the Normandy countryside. The pool is shared with the estate’s other accommodations. A shower and toilets are available, and towels are provided. Guest access You will have exclusive use of Le Presbytère: the entire manor, the courtyard and outdoor areas, as well as the private wellness outbuilding (subject to the applicable terms and conditions).
