Beautiful 2-bed 2-bath mountain cabin tucked away in the woods at 11,000 ft. Set in a natural Rockies landscape surrounded by mountains, streams and wildlife + easy access to skiing / hiking / mountain biking Our cabin is off major roads, so you MUST have a 4WD/AWD + adequate snow tires or chains to book in the winter (Dec-Apr). This is to ensure you can actually get to our cabin and enjoy your stay If you have a pet, please let us know you read the below rules in your booking message to us The space Important to note that our cabin is located above 11K ft in elevation and it is not recommended for you to go straight from sea-level to 11K ft without properly acclimatizing. Everyone reacts to altitude differently, but the general guidance is to drink lots of water and do not overly exert yourself until you feel acclimatized. Unfortunately, if you get sick the quickest option to cover is to go to lower altitudes until you are acclimatized. We are a pet-friendly property (for well-trained pets) and have a $50 / stay pet fee and a max of 2 pet limit. Pets must be approved, so please share some information on your pet in the booking message and acknowledge that you've read and will follow the below pet rules. For those who may be allergic to pet hair, please keep in mind that we are a pet-friendly property. Pet rules: - Please be respectful of our property and clean up after your pets, we have vacuums (at front-door entrance) and pet hair cleaning supplies (in cabinet next to couch) - Guests must bring dog bedding / crate and towels to wipe off wet paws (we also provide extra pet blankets and towels in the cabinet next to the couch but you must wash/dry them if you’ve used them during your stay) - Pets are not allowed on beds - Guests must pick up after their pets and discard waste properly in the trash cans outside - Pets are not allowed to be washed in the bathtub or showers - Guests are responsible for cleaning up any "accidents" their pet has caused inside and notify us of any accidents or damage - Guests are required to pay for any damage their pet causes Cabin details: + Self check-in with keypad + King bed in master bedroom (upstairs) + Two queen beds in second bedroom (downstairs) + Master bedroom has a bedroom closet for your items along with a large dresser + Coat closet at front-door entrance + Kitchen stocked with appliances, but you will need to bring food and beverages + WiFi speed fast enough for multiple video calls (we have no problem with 2 people working from home) + Wood burning fireplace with plenty of fire wood in the woodshed outside + 65-inch TV with Roku and free Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+ + Compact-sized washer and dryer (not full-size but can fit a smaller load) + Board games, cards, and puzzles House rules: - No parties and no smoking in the house - Max guest limit is 4 people - No open fire - open fires are not allowed on short term rentals in Park County and you will be subject to fines. - The cabin is in bear country.
