Mckenzie River Escape~private hideaway

Nestled in an old growth forest on the banks of the Mckenzie River, this spacious & private house offers a unique and unforgettable vacation experience. Escape the stress & noise of busy life in the quiet solitude of this 10 acre wooded retreat. With the river in the front and a meadow in the back, surrounded by beautiful trees, you can’t help but breath in the relaxation & enjoy the sights & sounds of the nature around you. Close to hiking, rafting, fishing, golfing & all the area has to offer! The space The house is located down a private driveway, nestled in the woods next to the river. It has a spacious front deck with a bench and chairs for enjoying the view as well as a fire pit to enjoy when its not fire season. The back deck has a beautiful view of the wide open meadow. It has a dining table and chairs as well as a BBQ. There are beautiful trees all around, providing shade and solitude. There are no immediate or close neighbors, but there is one house across the river that can be seen from the front yard. The house has three bedrooms and can sleep up to eight people with the use of queen air mattress. There is a king bed, a queen bed, a twin size trundle bed and a queen size air mattress to use when needed. The master bedroom has an attached, private bathroom. There is another full bathroom downstairs as well. The twin trundle bed is located in the open loft, with beautiful views through the big living room windows. There is a full kitchen with everything you should need and a laundry room as well. This house is perfect for friend or family getaway’s or private, restful retreats. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house with front deck, back deck and front yard with river access and backyard meadow. Other things to note Please enjoy the river access at your own risk and do not leave children or pets unattended by the river. Remember that the water is very cold and may be faster than it appears.
