The Lodge in Cassadaga

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. This cozy rustic cottage is tucked away in the woods while still being close to many local attractions. You’ll be just 25 minutes away from Chautauqua Lake, The Chautauqua Institution, and Jamestown, 15 minutes from Lake Erie, and minutes away from Casssadaga public beach and boat launch, as well as Lily Dale. If you’re up for a day trip, Buffalo and Niagara Falls are within a couple hours. Come relax and enjoy a peaceful stay in the woods! The space This charming cottage is quaintly nestled in the beautiful woods just west of Rt 60 in Cassadaga, NY. The private driveway winds its way down through towering trees on a dirt road to an elevated knoll where this updated retreat lives in peace and quiet. On approach, you arrive at the front yard where a covered pavilion and campfire ring greet you for summer barbecues, music, and enjoying the company of family and friends. A swing set and hammock set are extras for fun and naps. A large covered porch overlooks a partially fenced-in back yard that also offers a framed view of beautiful Cassadaga Lake through the trees. Inside, you'll find a large vaulted ceiling living room (with a single day bed) and large family room (with a queen-sized sofa bed) that are spacious enough for everyone to enjoy. You'll even find a large collection of VHS tapes in case you want to relax old school-style. The cabin also has super fast fiber optic WiFi and a Roku stick for streaming and working remotely. Two bedrooms are found connected to the living room, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. We also have a queen air mattress and a Pack 'n Play available for guest use. Speaking of kids, we have a high chair, some kids' utensil and dishes, as well as some toys so even the littlest guests will be comfortable. A full, spacious kitchen and a bathroom with a tub top off this retreat that, while being tucked away in the woods, doesn't feel like you're roughing it at all! Guest access You'll have access to the full cabin and the outdoor space surrounding the cabin. The dirt road leading up to the cabin is shared with one other property that is just past ours, so we ask that you please respect the property lines. Other things to note There is about a 1/2 mile drive down a dirt road once you turn off Route 60. It can get muddy after lots of rain so please drive carefully.
